MEET THE STAFF

Sam Green

Lead Pastor

Sam has been serving in full-time pastoral ministry since 2002 and has served as Lead Pastor at Bible Baptist since March of 2018. He and his wife, Summer, have enjoyed 20 years of marriage and ministry together, and are the grateful parents to their daughter Phoebe.

Sam is passionate about seeing each member and regular attender of Bible Baptist take the next step in their faith, through the preaching and teaching of God's Word. It is his prayer that God uses Bible Baptist Church to show love and share Christ with our community and to serve one another.

Sam and Summer desire to encourage you to trust God, love Him, love one another, and have a daily, personal relationship with Jesus.

Nick Rose

Associate Pastor | Project 55 | Tethered

Nick joined the Bible Baptist team in 2019. He met his wife Sarah at BBC and were married in 2022.

Native to West Virginia, Nick was born and raised in Beckley. He came to know the Lord personally on January 2, 2011. It was in that same year he answered the Lord's call into full-time ministry.

Nick serves our Tethered Young Married Class, assists Preacher Holder in our Bible ministry, and heads up project55wv.com. He is thankful to be serving the Lord in his home church.

Wayne Holder

John and Romans Ministry

God used Preacher and Mrs. Holder to start Bible Baptist in 1995. He served as the lead pastor for 12 years. In 2007 he retired from the pastorate and took on the role of leading the John and Romans ministry. Together, with the Lord's help, the Holders have been able to be used by God for many decades.

They have two adult children, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandkids. We are so thankful for their faithfulness to the Lord and His work.
